Scouts are encouraged to participate in an official Troop 226 fundraising activity when they are working on this Merit Badge. Christmas Tree LotTroop 226 participates in the Over the Mountain Scouts Christmas Tree Lot located on Route 31 in Vestavia Hills during November and December. Scouts and their family will sign up in October to work shifts with their parents. Trails End PopcornTroop 226 joins many other Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs as they sell Trails End Popcorn. The boys can sell popcorn to family and friends, email their extended family and friends to purchase popcorn online, and participate in Show-n-Sell events scheduled by their troop.
